The adapter V.A.G 1582/17 is used in combination with the main tool V.A.G 1582 to pull off the inner race of the taper roller bearing from the differential on the differential housing side.
The adapter is required for the 6-speed manual gearbox OB1 front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual gearbox OB2 four-wheel drive.
