The Adapter V.A.G. 1582/16A is used in conjunction with basic tool V.A.G 1582 to pull off the inner race of the angular ball bearing from the differential on the crown wheel side.

The extractor head is required for the 6-speed manual gearbox OB1 FWD and 6-speed manual gearbox OB2 4WD.
The application is described in the workshop manual.
