Due to the variety of ABS connectors, it was necessary to split adapter VAS 5256 into adapters VAS 5256 and VAS 5256/1. The adapter VAS 5256/1 is used in conjunction with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 and multi-meters V.A.G 1715 and V.A.G 1526/1526A for simple, fast and accurate recording of various signals from components such as:
- ABS speed sensor (inductive)
- ABS speed sensor (Hall sender)
- etc.
The connectors are decoded and can thus be used diversely as 2 pin connectors. The use of the adapter is described in the relevant Workshop Manual/Technical Bulletin.
