Replacement multimeter leads for vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS5051B. The multimeter leads VAS5051B/5 serve as a means of measuring and testing direct and alternating voltages, direct and alternating currents, continuity,diodes, etc.

The multimeter leads VAS5051B/5 meet the regulations that came into law from 01.01.2004 with regards to EN and UL.
The safety regulations require use of fuse elements on the input side of multimeter cables. The fuse elements are installed directly on the input side and are of the reversible multi-fuse type. These fuses prevent damage to the vehicle from excessive currents caused by malfunctions (e.g. short circuit from squashed cables in vehicle door).
In addition, the multimeter cable contains the electronics for inline current measurements, inc. electronic fuse.
