The aluminium shielded arc welding wire V.A.G 2001/1 is a special MIG welding wire used for welding aluminium-silicium alloys and aluminium-silicium cast alloys. It is required in conjunction with the shielded arc welding unit V.A.G 2001 for body repairs on aluminium vehicles (e.g. Audi A8).
