The adapter lead and the auxiliary airbag tester VAS 5056 serve as a means of testing the curtain airbags in the Golf/Bora, Sharan front passenger`s airbag and driver`s airbag in vehicles with ESP. The adapter lead is included in the items supplied with the auxiliary airbag tester VAS 5056 B since 7/2000. The auxiliary airbag tester VAS 5056 or VAS 5056A should be supplemented with the adapter lead VAS 5056/3.
