To prevent accidental release of side airbag during assembly and removal work on driver and front passenger seat, ignition lead of relevant side airbag module must be short circuited to housing for reasons of safety.
Introduction: Audi A8 (D3) single seats in rear, left and right.
For all other side airbag systems, use airbag adapters VAS 5232, VAS 5232/1, VAS 5232/2, VAS 5094, VAS 5068, VAS 6036, VAS 6229 and VAS 6235.
Warning:
One adapter is required for each side airbag (2).
