Battery charger VAS 5908 for powerful buffer operation during diagnosis work and flashing as well as current draw testing in accordance with VW test instructions for starter batteries (battery test sheet). With a maximum of 105A / 1600W, the VAS 5908 charger for 12V lead-acid motor vehicle batteries is currently the most powerful charger.
It is designed for simple and automated use in workshops and vehicle manufacture.
To ensure that there is no interruption (crash) during diagnosis and programming on the vehicle, it is absolutely essential for support to be provided from powerful battery chargers (buffer operation).
Aside from EPS mode (external power supply), it is possible to charge/recharge 12V motor vehicle starter batteries (lead/gel/AGM/fleece batteries) without disconnecting them from the onboard supply system.

Design and features:
A microprocessor steers, controls and monitors the functions. Comprehensive safety features are integrated (protection against reverse polarity, short circuit, overcharging, etc.).
The buttons can be used to select the operating modes and change parameters directly on the unit.
The charge status/operating condition is shown in the display or signalized via the three high power LEDs.
