Application:

If there are faults in the airbag system, clear fault messages are not always communicated by the control unit. The fault could be in the current path e.g. in a defective igniter, in the coil connector or in the wiring.  For precise localization of the defective part, auxiliary airbag tester VAS 5056 is required.  With this device, it is possible to check the whole current path without it being necessary to take special safety measures regarding the airbag. Previous products can still be used. The items supplied have been adjusted.

VAS 5056D is supplied separately (without additional airbag test adapters) in a case.
